OUR SPIRITUAL ORGANISATIONS
Our organization is involved in numerous projects
St. Mary’s Jacobite syrian orthodaox church is a spiritual organization functioning in all the parishes of the Syrian Orthodox Church throughout the world.
The Malankara Jacobite Syrian Sunday School Association, under the Holy Apostolic See of Antioch and all the East. The General Secretary and other administrative members staff the head office. Classes range from grade I to X, each with its curriculum. At the Vicariate level, a centralised Sunday school committee will be formed, with the Patriarchal Vicar/Metropolitan as its head, a Priest/Vicar as director, and a Secretary and Headmasters/Headmistresses.
The St. Mary’s Women’s Association, known as the Martha Mariam Vanitha Samajam, is a source of spiritual nourishment and connection for all women above the age of eighteen within the diocese. The Association aims to spiritually uplift women through regular prayer, retreats, assisting the needy, and organising religious events associated with our Holy Mother of God. Each group will be based in their local church or congregation and operate under specific Bylaws approved by the Patriarchal vicar/Metropolitan, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Auditor, and committee members. Providing services in the church main.
The youth association includes all individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 within the jurisdiction of the Patriarchal Vicar/Dioceses. They form primary units in each Church/Parish and congregation and are governed by the Bylaws of the units. The Diocesan Youth Association meets at least once a year, while church associations meet as required to address youth-related matters.
Office bearers, including a Secretary and Treasurer, are elected for a two-year term. Spiritual organizations can propose a regional coordinator to work with the Director of each Spiritual organization. The Youth Association is encouraged to establish additional activities like Students’ Ministry, College Ministry, and Ecumenical Youth Ministry. Approval must be sought for any new ministry initiated.

The Syrian Orthodox Students Movement in Australia (SOSMA) is a spiritual organization of the Syriac Orthodox Church for high school students and above. It provides a platform for spiritual learning and personal development, aiming to build a community of church servants dedicated to meeting the unique spiritual needs of individuals raised in Australia.
